Speaking of WIP's... my MIL said she'd love new potholders done in thread and I decided to get to it. Her prayer shawl can wait a little bit as it's too hot to make use of it anyway now that it's summer. I'll work on it in August. Anyhow, here is a picture of the potholder in progress. I am using two thread cotton yarns... mauve and yellow... Just a sc back and forth for 30 stitches I believe. I'll do another with green and yellow as well after this. Using 2 threads makes it a lot thicker than just using 1.
